Gregs is a British Weightlifting Level 2 Coach.
Gregs started off as one of our members, and has trained in the CrossFit/competitive functional fitness methodology now for over 6 years. She found functional fitness as she was bored of the same commercial gym routine- cross trainer, treadmill etc 6 years ago. Gregs says:
“I remember my first session being a BEASTING and thinking I would NEVER get a pull up (who are they kidding). 3 years into it I found I went more towards the weightlifting side of the workouts (Snatch and Clean & Jerk). From here I found my place mostly training for Olympic weightlifting, with the occasional functional fitness session thrown in as its so much fun, and train 4-5 days a week for up to 2 hours a session.”
Gregs has competed in both CrossFit and functional fitness events and British Weightlifting competitions, and qualified for and competed in the British Weightlifting English Championships in 2018.
Gregs coaches our LIFT sessions. Her sessions are fun, energetic and very to the point. She looks at individual techniques on the Olympic lifts and programs some individualised strength and conditioning for members, to assist these lifts. She works to get the best out of you!
